Someone told me last night that I sound and look like a giant Nellie McKay. I just smiled and nodded because...it was supposed to be a compliment? Should it be one? I'm not really sure. First off I was surprised anyone around here knew who she was and secondly I'm well I'm still just confused. I mean I am a giant I won't deny that and I am blonde but ... I don't think I talk like her? Do I? She's from New York or something and I'm from Texas...I guess my voice is sort of muddled would that be the right word? I don't have a huge southern drawl or anything like that but I don't think the first thing someone would think when they hear me speak is NY.

I went on a date last night with this guy. We met through one of those online sites. He was really cool online and he was pretty okay in person. I think he was really nervous because he kept talking about boobs. He wasn't talking about BOOOBS OH MY I LOVE BOOBS all night it's just everything seemed to trigger the topic. I might have made things worse by constantly trying change the subject to penises.

He was a nice guy. I don't think he's going to call and that's okay I guess. We didn't click. Sparks are always a must even if you're just friends. Not sexy sparks with friends that wouldn't make them friends.

I got a lawn gnome to put out in front of my apt. door. I hope no one takes him. He's a cute little gnome leaning against a mushroom. I found these creepy Norwegian troll things I want them. I don't think people would like evily trolls around the apt complex.

My boss is a superhero! So are Garret and Kian! I have no right to tell this story I wasn't even involved but I am an impressed spectator! Who works on 4th of July? Someone who likes to make money in a tourist town. Yeah. Drunken guy, a brawl, three awesome guys saving the day. Superheros.

OPETH HAS A NEW ALBUM AND IT WILL BE OUT SOON THIS YEAR AND I NEED IT NOW.

I am loving this weather. We are having ourselves some perfect bike riding weather I tell you what. Thanks to Alice for prompting the idea I've been throwing down raspberry infused lemonade all day. I really wish I had more to say but these two things have made my day. Riding my bike and fancy tea-lemonade. I suppose my day isn't over yet and that's why I don't have much other than this to say. Pulling an evening/night shift in about an hour.
